Responsibilities: • Perform basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements according to manufacturer guidelines • Inspect and diagnose customer vehicles, identifying any potential issues or recommended repairs • Maintain a clean and organized work area, as well as properly maintaining tools and equipment • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on services and any recommended repairs • Ensure all services are completed accurately and efficiently, meeting dealership and manufacturer standards • Continuously update knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance techniques through training programs and workshops • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the shop and on the lot Requirements: • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role in the automotive industry • Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Basic computer skills • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background and drug screening • Must have the physical and dexterity ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks EEOC Statement: Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
