Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
- Experience conducting evaluations and writing psychological reports.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and administrative staff.
- Knowledge of universal screening tools and data management for progress monitoring.
Location:
- Based in Brockton, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess student needs and determine eligibility for special education services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
- Provide consultation services to school teams regarding student evaluations and interventions.
- Administer and interpret standardized assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Classroom Needs Assessments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to support academic and emotional development.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment by promoting mental health awareness and interventions.
