We are looking for a Gardener to join our ground maintenance team. While landscaping experience is a plus, we are particularly looking for someone who is a hard worker with a positive attitude. To fulfill the duties of this job, you must have some basic horticultural knowledge and be willing to work outside in potentially inclement weather conditions. In addition to basic pruning and weeding tasks, you may also assist with applying fertilizer and a number of other gardening tasks.
Gardener Duties and Responsibilities
- Trim shrubs and trees
- Plant shrubs/ perennials
- Apply fertilizer
- Pull weeds
- Rake leaves
- Assist with litter and trash removal
Gardener Requirements and Qualifications
- Prior gardening or landscaping experience
- Experience with common tools, including power edgers, brush cutters and string trimmers
- Basic horticulture knowledge strongly preferred
- Comfortable working outside in various conditions
- Physical stamina
