Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing and collections process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This position is vital for maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting the organization’s cash flow management.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner to ensure smooth billing operations.
• Monitor and track outstanding payments, ensuring follow-up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Resolve discrepancies in billing and payments by collaborating with internal teams and customers.
• Handle commercial collections activities, including direct communication with clients to secure payments.
• Apply cash payments and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of accounts receivable transactions for reporting purposes.
• Build and nurture positive relationships with customers to ensure payment compliance and satisfaction.
• Utilize NetSuite or similar accounting systems to manage accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Support process improvements to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of billing functions.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting role.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle financial discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
