Remote Special Education Teacher Supporting Students in Durham, NH
Location: Durham, NH (Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (K-12)

VocoVision is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Durham, New Hampshire. In this role, you will deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their academic success and development in a virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction to students with various disabilities, ensuring their educational and social growth.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs and goals of each student.
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other professionals to track student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, advocating for the accommodations and support necessary for students with special needs.
• Assist general education teachers in integrating students with special needs into classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with New Hampshires special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Hampshire certification in Special Education.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
• At least two years of experience in a special education classroom (teletherapy experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of virtual teaching tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote setting.
• A reliable internet connection and a professional, quiet workspace.
