The Role
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician at RCL Mechanical, youll work closely with our dispatch team and service manager to deliver top-notch service from the first knock on the door to the final handshake. Youll have the independence to run your calls while knowing youve got a whole team backing you up.
Were looking for someone who:
- Delivers outstanding customer service every job, every time
- Takes ownership of each call from start to finish for all our our maintenance members
- Has the skills to troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems with confidence
- Ability to present estimates and make sales on site
What Youll Do
- Complete maintenances on furnaces, heat pumps boilers, and water heaters
- Perform maintenance, and offer 3 estimates each visit. Candidate must be confident in sales
- Complete preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and providing honest recommendations
- Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service reports
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional-looking service vehicle
- Earn positive Google reviews to help grow our reputation
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (including some weekends/off-hours)
What Were Looking For
- 2+ years experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Confident and sales oriented
- Ability to work in various conditions (confined spaces, heights, heat/cold)
- Clean, professional communication skills with customers and team members
- A team-first mindset with the motivation to deliver 5-star work
