The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will oversee daily operations for the lobby restaurant/bar, Tara House Grill, and banquet events, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and leading team members, managing cost and operational reporting, maintaining equipment and inventory, and delivering a positive guest and team experience across all food and beverage outlets.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $59,100 - $74,400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of restaurant and banquet event operations, including the lobby restaurant/bar and specialty dining outlets.
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Manage scheduling, cost controls, inventory, and operational reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all areas are operating efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to execute successful events and enhance the overall guest experience.

More about you

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a food and beverage manager, restaurant manager or banquet manager is required
  • No college degree required
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and inventory control procedures, with an understanding of standard food and beverage equipment operation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic organizational and mathematical abilities
