We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Dover, New Hampshire. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting essential accounting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering precise results in a fast-paced environment.
THIS ROLE IS PART TIME (20 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely invoicing and payment handling.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing activities.
• Maintain bookkeeping records, ensuring all transactions are documented and categorized appropriately.
• Input financial data with precision, utilizing accounting software and tools such as Sage and Microsoft Excel.
• Assist in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
• Support month-end close procedures, including preparation of reports and financial statements.
• Utilize Sage software to manage and streamline accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and month-end close processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in payroll processing is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals.
