Position Summary:

We're looking for an Order Management Analyst to provide daily operational support while also driving strategic initiatives that improve the end-to-end order cycle. This role is critical to optimizing order processing, reducing cost-to-serve, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

The Order Management Analyst will measure current performance, uncover process improvement opportunities, and lead root cause analysis across the order lifecycle—from order receipt through fulfillment and on-time delivery. This individual will partner with Customer Operations, Logistics, Planning, IT, and Sales to implement solutions that enhance customer service and streamline operations. They will also support change management initiatives, leverage data to influence decisions, and use Lean thinking to promote continuous improvement.

This role will be based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.

Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in-office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage an assigned account portfolio and oversee its daily order fulfillment and shipment execution, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and service quality.
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs such as on-time in-full (OTIF), order accuracy, and freight optimization.
  • Conducting root cause analysis for service issues and coordinating cross-functional solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining SOPs, reports, and dashboards for order performance and exceptions management.
  • Representing Customer Operations in Customer and cross-functional performance reviews.
  • Driving cost savings, service improvement projects, and innovative process enhancements.
  • Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen ERP accuracy, reporting, and data visibility.
  • Applying Lean tools and visual management to simplify and improve order workflows.
  • Monitor ERP system accuracy including lead times and customer order statuses while partnering with IT, customers and others to enhance processes, systems support, and reporting.
  • Network with peer companies and professional organizations to stay current with industry trends.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience preferably in Customer Operations, Logistics, or related functions; experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to assess information, identify issues, and create solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: confident in engaging with internal teams, customers, and leadership.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy: ensuring data integrity in order processing and reporting.
  • Proficiency in order management systems, ERP, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes, including order fulfillment, planning, and distribution.
  • Experience applying Lean practices, visual management, or process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
