Manufacturing Customer Service Specialist - CNC & Sheet Metal

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, order updates, and service requests.
- Process quotes, orders, and change requests through the MRP system.
- Track order status and proactively communicate lead times, delays, or changes to customers.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and shipping teams to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation according to company standards.
- Resolve customer issues professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Support internal reporting and data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
- Proficiency with MRP systems (Epicor preferred).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formatting).
- Familiarity with precision sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining terminology is a plus.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation:
- Up to $30/hour, based on experience
