Production Technician – Biotechnology

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Technician to join our biotechnology team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing defined production procedures in a GMP-regulated environment, supporting manufacturing operations, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform production tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and cGMP regulations.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and actively participate in site safety initiatives.
  • Execute lab start-up and shutdown procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Operate and monitor equipment including spectrophotometers, pH meters, and automated systems.
  • Perform routine tasks such as buffer preparation, pH testing, UV measurements, and fraction collection.
  • Support synthesis and purification processes, including equipment cleaning, solution prep, and column packing.

Qualifications:

  • Biotechnology certificate or college degree preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience with pH testing, aseptic technique, buffer preparation, and chromatography.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.25/hr.
