Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month contract basis in Lynn, MA. This role will support day-to-day HR operations within a manufacturing environment, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.

Pay Rate: $25–$35/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm
Key Responsibilities
Daily HR Operations:
-
Collect and distribute internal mail
-
Coordinate with staff on office inventory and supply needs
-
Process employee call-out notifications and maintain accurate records
-
Receive and forward Return-to-Work (RTW) documentation to People Ops and Payroll
-
Serve as first point of contact for hourly employee questions and direct them accordingly

Scan, upload, and file employee documents (e.g., separations, requests, referrals) in Workday
Recruitment Coordination:
-
Schedule and manage interviews for hourly, salary, and executive-level roles
-
Attend weekly recruiting meetings and provide updates on openings and candidate progress

Send offer letters and “thanks but no thanks” (TBNT) communications

Assist with preparing interview materials and coordinating interview logistics

Greet, escort, and support candidates during onsite interview days
Onboarding & Orientation:

Confirm cleared new hires with People Ops
-
Send welcome emails and first-day instructions
-
Prepare and lead weekly new hire orientations (hourly and salary)

Coordinate monthly Supply Chain orientation: scheduling, materials, and communication

Complete I-9 verifications and transition new hires to their managers
HR Administration & Support:

Maintain and update recruitment tracking spreadsheets

Monitor and collect performance appraisals

Post internal job upgrades and notify relevant teams

Support HR managers with projects, documentation, and compliance

Assist with onboarding and activities for interns, co-ops, and rotational programs
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on coordination and administrative support

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred

Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail

Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
