Deaf and Hard of Hearing TeacherJob Description:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, focusing on language development, communication skills, and academic progress.
• Utilize various communication methods, such as American Sign Language (ASL), cued speech, or spoken language, tailored to students individual needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
• Monitor and maintain assistive listening devices, such as hearing aids or FM systems, to ensure optimal functionality during classroom activities.

Pay & Benefits:

• Highly competitive compensation $40-45/hr

Interview Process:

• 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
• 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
• Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
