Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to support an elementary school setting in Springfield, MA. This position offers a contract arrangement throughout the current school year, providing a consistent and engaging role within a single site focused on early childhood development and communication support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students.
  • Collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) present on site.
  • Work within the school hours of 8:45 AM to 3:20 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.
  • Support a dual language school environment; bilingual skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials, including certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working in elementary school settings is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored to diverse student populations.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently.
  • Familiarity with dual language program structures is a plus.
