In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer to support all core HR functions—recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, leave administration, and more. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping to foster a positive, organized, and collaborative workplace.

What You’ll DoRecruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Design and execute creative strategies to attract exceptional candidates across all departments.
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle—posting roles, screening applicants, interviewing, and guiding hiring decisions.
  • Oversee and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for smooth candidate flow and documentation.
  • Extend offers and coordinate all pre-employment steps, including clinical credentialing.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, community events, and outreach initiatives to grow talent pipelines.

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Manage all aspects of the new hire experience, ensuring employees start strong and feel welcomed.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly New Hire Orientation sessions—including paperwork, benefits setup, and systems access.

Employee Experience & Compliance

  • Track and manage CORI/Re-CORI documentation and clinical BLS certifications for HRSA compliance.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, update employee records, and coordinate performance evaluation processes.
  • Support leave administration (FMLA, PFML, Workers’ Compensation, unpaid leaves) with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist with ADA accommodation requests and collaborate with managers on the interactive process.
  • Provide guidance and clarity on personnel policies and serve as a supportive resource for staff.

HR Operations & Special Projects

  • Contribute to employee recognition programs and appreciation efforts.
  • Participate in special HR initiatives and take on assignments from the CHRO.
  • Travel occasionally to additional sites and job fairs (driver’s license required).

What You Bring

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • 1–3 years of HR experience with exposure to recruitment or generalist responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with HRIS/ATS platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and leave administration (FMLA, PFML).

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in healthcare, community health, or an FQHC environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Worthington, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $34.00/hr.
