Delivery Drivers:
Performs functions to assist the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority) Warehousing & Logistics Support contract.
Responsibilities:
Shall perform a variety of delivery driver duties, to include, but not limited to the following:
- Shall be licensed in accordance with local, state, or federal laws
- Shall possess the basic knowledge and skills required to operate required vehicle
- Perform Picking and Put Aways at 98% accuracy as assigned
- Perform daily cycle counts at a 98% accuracy rate as assigned
- Material must be picked up at or delivered to the correct destination in a timely manner
- Responsible for the successful and accurate completion of all MANCON required logs and safety checks, daily
- Verifying materials against receiving, shipping, storage and inventory documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damage
- Routing materials to prescribed storage, freight forward and/or shipping and receipt locations
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed shipping methods
- Process and/or affix, shipment, pick/pack and other paperwork and reports as required
- Operates hand or power trucks and/or forklift in performing truck loading, unloading and delivery of material.
- Deliveries are typically within the local area and include, but are not limited to, emergency and scheduled overnight deliveries.
- Inspect vehicles for safety prior to operation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Driver's License for appropriately sized truck
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license
