Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 special education teaching opportunity is available for the uping school year in Northfield, VT. This position requires dedication to supporting diverse learners through tailored instruction and collaboration with educational teams.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff

Location: Northfield, VT
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans to address student needs
- Deliver instruction incorporating various teaching methods suited to students with disabilities
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- municate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development
- Participate in team meetings, assessments, and professional development activities
This contract position spans the full regular school year.
