Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 school setting located in Boston, MA. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the educational development of students with diverse learning needs throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with special needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet various learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and parents to support student success.
• Monitor and document student progress regularly.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and learning.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with students in K-12 education.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, strategies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and compassionately.

Location:

• Boston, Massachusetts (onsite at K-12 school)
