Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at a high school in Brockton, MA, with a contract running from February 9 to June 15. This position requires dedication to supporting high school students with special needs and managing a caseload within the schools special education program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students educational needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with high school students in special education settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
