Job Summary:
The Housing Administrative Specialist is responsible for performing administrative tasks for the Property Mgmt Team and assisting the Director of Property Mgmt and Occupancy Specialists. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting Director with projects, marketing properties, processing mail, ordering office supplies, handling applicant phone calls, mailing out, reviewing, and tracking applications, taking meeting minutes, acting as a back up for Occupancy Specialists with delivering notices and inspecting apartments.
Essential Functions:
· Initial handling of applications
· Familiarity with SCS Housing Properties and Programs (will train the right person)
· Familiarity with LIHTC and HUD Housing Programs (will train the right person)
· Follow Fair Housing Laws
· Communicate with applicants/tenants in a manner that is productive, respectful, and professional
· Ability to file accurately and consistently
· Willingness and ability to learn Property Management Software
· Assist Director of Property Mgmt with projects

Desired Qualifications:
· Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
· Ability to communicate with outside agencies in a professional manner
· Ability to Problem Solve
· Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Valid NH Driver's License
· Proof of insurance and a dependable vehicle
- Willingness to travel to various sites that are managed by Southwestern Community Services
