Summary:
As a result of ongoing growth, WRRE is adding a Commercial & Residential Handyman to the team. This position is responsible for the timely resolution of facility issues for the company. The position also requires travel throughout the Raveis footprint with offices located throughout CT, MA, NY, FL, SC, and NH to handle maintenance tickets and to check on office conditions.
Essential Functions:
Commercial & Residential Handyman: a variety of maintenance and general repair upkeep work at various offices including residential repairs including:
- Cleaning and maintenance of common spaces, hallways & stairwells, assess water leaks – basements & roofs.
- Regularly replaces or repairs: windows, latches, screens, hinges, doors, shelves, base boards, mirrors and closets, cabinets, and countertops.
- Light general plumbing repairs and replacement of leaking fixtures, faucets, valves, garbage disposal and toilets.
- General carpentry services related to painting, blinds, shades, drywall, caulk, grout, install TVs & brackets, hang accessories, change door locks
o Assist with furniture installs and clean ups.
o Move office furniture (lateral cabinets, desks)
o Residential apartment repairs
- Basic repair and replacement including thermostats, electrical and appliances; troubleshoot no power to electrical outlets, change light bulbs, reset timers
- Reports to Service Manager regarding any problems and/or issues relating to safety or management of the property.
- Perform and document safety and facilities inspections
- Assist in exterior maintenance by performing landscape and horticultural maintenance, including manual labor such as walkway/driveway cleanup, weeding, shoveling, lifting, mulching, watering, or transporting materials as needed to ensure an organized and neat building appearance.

- 8-10 years’ experience of hands on work in Commercial & Residential
