We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our refrigerated products in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our refrigerated inventory, ensuring the smooth operation of all warehouse activities, and leading a team to maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. This is a permanent, full-time position with an attractive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the refrigerated warehouse, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity, implementing effective inventory control measures.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, including HACCP, AIB, and GMP.
- Coordinate with the 3PL service providers for efficient and timely delivery of refrigerated products.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including refrigerators and forklifts.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving warehouse operations, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure the quality of refrigerated products by implementing and maintaining proper cold storage procedures.
- Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to address any issues or concerns related to the warehouse operations.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations and performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing refrigerated products and understanding of cold storage procedures.
- Knowledge and experience with HACCP, AIB, and GMP regulations.
- Experience in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and refrigerators.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software and systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certification in warehouse management or a related field would be an advantage.
