Job Description

Dublin School, an intentionally small 9-12 all-gender college preparatory boarding and day school located in beautiful, rural southwestern NH, seeks an Interim Adjunct Woodworking Teacher for the Spring 2026 semester, beginning January 26-June 5, 2025. Our mission calls us to inspire curiosity and a passion for learning and to value and build every student's unique potential through meaningful work, the discipline to face challenges, and work for the development of the self and the good of the broader communities to which we belong. Successful candidates will have a teaching background or a degree/professional career in a related field and be passionate about working with teenagers to build skills and competencies, guide both individual and collaborative creative work with students at multiple levels, and encourage design thinking. Woodworking has been a program of unique importance in our Arts, Technology and Design program and carries a strong legacy in the Dublin ethos.

Dublin School celebrates the diversity of our school and its broader communities, including diversity in race, religion, ability, neurodiversity, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, and gender identity. The candidate will find alignment with Dublin's continued focus on equity, justice, and belonging, engage with ongoing community work and professional development, and show a commitment to continue to grow their competencies and skills. Previous experience in a boarding school environment is helpful but not required.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Teaching three to four sections of Woodworking with potential to develop courses in other related arts/crafts/design fields
  • Collaborating with the Arts, Technology and Design department and other colleagues to create a dynamic student-centered curriculum
