Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for an elementary school setting in Boston, MA, lasting a full semester through the end of the 2025-2026 school year (tentatively June 30th). This onsite role supports a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students, offering direct classroom instruction and tailored educational services within an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure effective inclusion practices.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with state regulations.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and related service providers.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts teaching license or certification in Special Education.
  • Proven school-based experience in a special education capacity.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 14-15 students in an elementary setting.
  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Successful completion of CORI background check and fingerprinting (letter of suitability from previous employer may be accepted).
  • Availability for a virtual interview via Zoom.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time position, approximately 32.5 hours per week.
  • Working hours are 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • The role is fully onsite at an elementary school in Boston, MA.
