Position Description: Client Manager
To achieve success in this role the Client Manager needs strong attention to detail, outstanding ability to communicate with clarity and brevity, masterful organizational skills, and a passion for helping inventors build great products and great businesses.
The Client Manager position at 52 Launch combines project management and client relationship activities, serving as the overall point of contact for clients as they engage with various teams to complete their product development process. In this role the Client Manager will collaborate with all departments of 52 Launch to ensure client’s goals and expectations are understood and acted upon.
The Client Manager at 52 Launch supports a large volume of clients and must quickly build rapport while serving each client efficiently. Typical days include extensive amounts of direct client communication (email, phone, video) and use of project management systems to understand project status and upcoming milestones.
Qualifications

REQUIRED: 5+ years with direct responsibility for owning B2B client relationships

REQUIRED: Experience managing complex projects using sophisticated project management platforms (Asana, Wrike, ClickUp, Salesforce, etc.)

REQUIRED: Basic familiarity with physical product development processes such as industrial design, manufacturing, etc.

Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and manage schedules of colleagues

Ability to work in rapidly changing environments including dealing with customer discontent, project scope changes, etc.

Experience interacting with contracts and leveraging them to achieve client outcomes

Great people skills and ability to build personal relationships

Skilled at google slides and other digital tools to create and modify collateral.
Responsibilities

Support and lead clients as they participate in a 12+ month product development process. Ensure clients achieve success in that process: placing production orders and reporting high level of satisfaction throughout.

Coordinate with colleagues in Design, Production, and Marketing departments to have them provide details directly to clients as needed.

Be the client’s advocate with internal teams to ensure mutual alignment at all times

Track overall project milestones and ensure all internal and external parties are prepared and on track to meet deliverables on time.

Identify and act upon process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, speed, and quality of the product development process
