Project Manager – Fireproofing Operations
Location: North Andover, Massachusetts
Salary: $75-95k + Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt Kaloutas is a growing commercial construction services company specializing in fireproofing, flooring, and painting. We are hiring a Construction Project Manager to support and scale our Fireproofing Operations across Massachusetts and New England.Fireproofing is a critical trade on commercial jobs — when it's done right, projects move. This role sits at the center of that execution, coordinating schedules, labor, materials, inspections, and GC communication to keep projects running safely, compliantly, and on time. Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial fireproofing projects from award through closeout
- Build and maintain project schedules and manpower plans
- Coordinate with GCs, inspectors, and other trades to sequence work
- Order fireproofing materials and consumables and track inventory
- Manage submittals, certifications, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate staging and logistics with the warehouse and yard teams
- Communicate job readiness and updates to field crews and GCs
- Track job progress, changes, and field conditions
- Drive punchlist and closeout to complete projects cleanly
- Coordinate site safety plans and required paperwork
Requirements:
- Experience in construction project management, operations, or coordination
- Ability to manage multiple active jobs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization, scheduling, and communication skills
- Experience working with GCs, inspectors, and field crews
Preferred (Not Required)
- Fireproofing or specialty trade experience (coatings, insulation, drywall, spray foam, etc.)
- Knowledge of UL designs or fireproofing inspections
- Experience with submittals and compliance documentation
- Procore, PlanGrid, or similar software
- OSHA 10 or 30
