North Suffolk is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team! The Operations Manager, Medical Team, plays a key Management role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the outpatient medical clinics within our different clinics. This position serves as the primary liaison between medical, administrative, and billing teams, driving process improvement, staff coordination, and operational excellence to ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care.

This position is Full-Time 36 hours per week - Monday through Friday.

What you’ll do:

  • Provides management and oversight for the daily operations of all medication clinics, ensuring efficient, compliant, and patient-centered workflows.
  • Coordinates medical team logistics and communications across all outpatient clinics, including virtual and hybrid operations.
  • Oversees client scheduling, insurance verification, and referral workflows, delegating tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partners with billing and quality management departments to ensure data accuracy, insurance compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Provides onboarding, orientation, and ongoing support to administrative and medical support staff.
  • Participates in agency-wide initiatives, special projects, and cross-departmental collaborations as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as requested to support the effective operation of the medical team.

What you’ll need:

  • Education:
    • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in healthcare operations or administrative management, preferably in a behavioral health or outpatient medical setting.
    • Supervisory or Management experience required.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical and administrative teams.
    • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
