Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school district in Springfield, MA is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services at the high school level. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, five days weekly, for the current school year (CSY).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions to support student academic and social-emotional development
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and provide consultation on student learning and behavioral concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state regulations and district policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist License required
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations, preferably at the high school level
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with students, families, and school personnel
