Exterior Framing, Siding, and Roofing Carpenter Position Summary:

High Tech Dormer Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter specializing in exterior framing, siding, and roofing to join our team in Medford, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction of upper-level additions, including framing, siding installation, and roofing work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work comfortably at heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform framing, siding, and roofing tasks for upper-level addition projects, ensuring adherence to building codes and project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure project accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with the team to complete projects within timelines and budget constraints, while maintaining high safety standards.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment safely and proficiently, maintaining their condition, and ensuring proper usage.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns that may arise.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting new techniques and solutions to enhance project outcomes and overall construction processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, specializing in exterior framing, siding, and roofing.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, techniques, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately.
• Comfort working at heights, with a focus on safety and adherence to fall protection guidelines.
• Proficient in operating a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving project goals.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $60,000 - $64,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Retirement plan available to eligible employees.
