Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Massachusetts school psychologist position is available to support high school students in Westfield, MA. This full-time contract role runs from ASAP through June 25, 2026, providing essential psychological services within a school setting to promote student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and intervention services addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with school staff to support positive student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts license as a school psychologist required (license screenshot must be provided with application)
- Proven experience working as a school psychologist, preferably within a high school environment
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently while working collaboratively with students, families, and school teams
- Reliable transportation to commute to the school location
- Willingness and ability to complete required background checks promptly
