Metropolitan Linen Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative & Collections Assistant to support our Accounting and Operations teams. This role focuses on customer billing follow-up, collections outreach, reporting, and general administrative support.

Requirements

  • College degree required

  • 2+ years of administrative experience (billing, accounting support, or office administration preferred)

  • Strong communication skills; comfortable making outbound calls regarding outstanding balances

  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices via phone and email

  • Maintain collections trackers and update payment statuses

  • Assist with billing inquiries, invoice re-sends, and documentation

  • Support accounting, customer service, and operations teams with administrative tasks

  • Prepare reports and maintain organized digital records
