Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Montpelier, VT is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the uping school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth

- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Participating in meetings and contributing to educational planning
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
- Ability to create supportive and engaging learning environments
- Effective munication and teamwork skills
This role is based in Montpelier, VT and runs for the full school year under a contract agreement.
