Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide essential psychological services in a high school setting located in Cambridge, MA, delivering support primarily through counseling to a caseload of 20 students. This contract position runs from February 6th to mid-June, offering three days per week at six hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on student mental health and well-being
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments as needed
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and external providers to develop and implement support plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist licensure
- Proven experience in counseling, particularly within a school or educational environment
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively while providing individualized support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students and staff
