Job description


Little Learners Childcare is looking to hire a teacher for their Infant room.
Responsibilities for Infant Teacher

• Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
• Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
• Feed infants solid foods as age-appropriate and provided by parents
• Change diapers as needed
• Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
• Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys
• Put infants in cribs for nap time
• Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean

Qualifications for Infant Teacher

• Completion of the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care Authority
• Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• A caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Extended periods sitting on the floor
• Ability to work a shift between 7 am _ 5:30 pm that changes weekly
• Reliable transportation to the Child Care center
• Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
