Experienced Site Superintendent responsible for overseeing daily operations on large-scale civil construction projects, including earthwork, utilities, roadways, and site development. Ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Position Duties:

· Supervise and direct the activities of one or more foreman.

· Access the productivity, quality, safety, scheduling procedures, and report to the PMs as needed.

· Oversee the scheduling of the project, understanding drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, all types of earth support systems, dewatering systems, treatment systems

· As superintendent, supervise, coordinate and schedule subcontractors and job site operations.

· Monitor job site operations for compliance with contract requirements for noise and dust control, non-interruption of Owner activities, and utility shutdown procedures.

· Provide assistance to Site Safety, Health, and Substance Abuse Program to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel at the job sites.

· Assist in the development of site-specific Safety and Quality plans.

· Provide job site quality control checks to ensure the best possible product in accordance with the Quality Control Plan.

· Participate in Safety and Quality Control meetings.

· Oversee the preparation of accurate, detailed, written safety and daily reports.

· Together with the Project Manager, prepare agenda and hold job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress with minutes distributed to all parties.

· Maintain communications with Project Manager to ensure proper coordination of the project amongst the on-site office, job site operations and subcontractors/suppliers for the project.

· Participate in Pre-Construction activities as needed.

· Participate in Owner meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum five years’ supervisory experience in heavy civil and site work projects ranging from 3M – 150M.

· A degree in civil engineering, and five years of project experience

· Experience in supervising multiple subcontractors or crews on multiple construction projects

· Experience overseeing, foremen, or Crews

· Strong knowledge of piledriving, earth support, grading, excavation, underground utilities, concrete, and paving.

· Good communication and management skills

· Knowledge and efficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel and Procore

· OSHA Safety Course Certification and CPR Certification
