Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily operation of in vitro ADME assays, high volume tuning of compounds on mass spectrometers (MS), bioanalysis of ADME assay samples, maintaining solutions for assays, preparation and formatting of compounds in assay-ready format.
Qualifications:
-
B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry or a closely related discipline with 0-3 years' experience in a technical support role is desired.

Must demonstrate experimental and problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration and communication skills (both written and oral), and an eagerness to learn.

Demonstration of meeting timelines and excellent time management is favored.

The ability to work in a team-based drug discovery/ development environment is essential.

A strong understanding of bioanalysis utilizing LC-MS with special emphasis on the application of high throughput in vitro ADME sample analysis in the drug discovery setting.

A good understanding of laboratory equipment, automation, and LCMS software is desirable.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
