A highly motivated and experienced Analytical Chemist is needed to join the team.

The focus of the role is the characterization of polysaccharides, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and other biologics.

Responsible for implementing analytical methods to support the analysis of process development samples for polysaccharide and proteins/mAbs therapeutics.
Qualifications:
-
Requires a strong understanding of SEC-MALS, protein biochemistry and a proven track record of applying a variety of analytical techniques, specifically N-glycan analysis, titer determination, Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Mutli-Angle Light Scattering (MALS) Detector, peptide mapping, imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (iCE), and Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE)

Some Mass Spectroscopy (MS) experience to characterize mAbs and other proteins.

BA/BS 0-3 years experience

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
