Adecco is hiring Custodians with our client in Bennington, VT. Custodians perform essential roles with one of our top clients, starting at $19.50-$20.00/hr., with overtime opportunities available. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for daily sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of all floors, as well as cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and locker rooms. You will perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, basic plumbing, painting, and tool repair. The role also includes preventive maintenance and following safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum of two years of facilities and maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Valid driver’s license

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, maintain, and perform basic repairs on tools and building systems

Ability to troubleshoot routine building and system issues
-
Ability to stand and be on feet for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong problem-solving, time management, and initiative skills with attention to detail

Dependable and results-oriented with strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
-
Willingness to work mandatory overtime

Pay Details: $19.50 to $20.00 per hour
