Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a stepdown unit, supporting adult-geriatric patients. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice, including patient and family education. Utilization of the Epic electronic medical record system is essential in daily responsibilities. Nurses will wear traveler-provided professional scrubs without logos.

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with a 48-hour guaranteed workweek. Block scheduling requests and candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. A New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/ Registration Certificate is required upfront for all nursing submissions according to state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients in a stepdown setting
  • Participate in patient and family teaching efforts
  • Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and patient care teams
  • Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and documentation requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license relevant to New Hampshire, including required temporary health care service agency registration
  • Experience in stepdown or progressive care nursing, skilled in managing adult-geriatric patients
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably Epic
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed within scheduled shifts

Candidates are expected to comply with all medical and occupational health compliance items within five days of offer acceptance, with proof of compliance uploaded accordingly.
