Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Human Resources Operations Specialist job for our direct client in Newington, NH. In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and support a wide range of HR functions including HR systems administration, employee relations, immigration, analytics, compliance, and training. You will act as the subject matter expert for HR systems (particularly Paycom), oversee data accuracy and reporting, drive process improvements, and lead investigations related to employee concerns.
Human Resources Operations Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain HR systems including Paycom, SharePoint, and LMS platforms, ensuring data integrity and functionality
- Train staff and stakeholders on HR systems and maintain documentation for procedures and setups
- Manage all HR-related reporting and compliance requirements, including EEO, AAP, VETS 4212, and ConcernLine documentation
- Lead investigations into employee relations issues such as harassment or policy violations, working with legal as needed
- Support employee communication initiatives and participate in engagement activities
- Lead the performance management process including goal setting, reviews, and calibration sessions
- Manage immigration processes including visa renewals, compliance, and collaboration with external legal partners
- Analyze HR trends, produce dashboards and reports, and recommend actions based on data-driven insights
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and leadership on organizational initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of HR operations experience with expertise in HRIS (Paycom), analytics, compliance, and employee relations
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in HR metrics and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience supporting a global or 24/7 operation; willingness to work off-shift or travel as needed
- Prior experience in manufacturing, marine, or transportation industries strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and credit check
