We are looking for a skilled Document Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In this role, you will focus on maintaining the accuracy and organization of important documentation, ensuring seamless access and proper handling. This position is ideal for someone with expertise in document control and scanning processes who thrives in a detail-oriented environment.
Schedule: M-F 9m - 5pm
Responsibilities:
• Manage and organize documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Perform scanning and digitization of physical documents for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Maintain compliance with document control policies and procedures.
• Verify document integrity and ensure all files are properly labeled and categorized.
• Compile and prepare documents for distribution or archiving.
• Identify and address inconsistencies in documentation to uphold quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline document handling processes.
• Maintain a secure and orderly system for physical and digital documents.
• Generate reports related to document management activities as needed.
• Provide support in troubleshooting document-related issues.
• Proven experience in document control or similar roles.
• Proficiency in scanning and digitization processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with document management systems and tools.
