This position performs routine testing using various chemistry techniques within the pharmaceutical industry. We seek an experienced professional who can make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.
- Perform advanced or critical testing as required.
- Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing.
- Apply working knowledge of raw materials testing and release.
- Utilize instruments such as HPLC, GC, and ICP.
- Lead investigation activities.
- Ensure compliance with all data integrity and cGMP practices, procedures, and expectations.
- Maintain compliance with all good documentation practices.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in HPLC, GC, ICP, and GC-MS.
- Experience in quality control and wet chemistry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and data entry.
- Analytical chemistry expertise.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in the industry for Chemist I positions; co-op experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing setting is acceptable.
- 3-5 years of industry experience for Chemist II positions.
Work Environment
Work within a small, collaborative team of 15 people in quality, with cross-departmental collaboration. The position operates on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The main site for product testing is in Fall River, with a focus on expanding the product line, particularly inhalants.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
