Position: Community Support Worker // Direct Support Professional
Location: Medford, MA
Salary: $20.60/Hour until fully trained, $21.63/Hour fully trained. We will train!
Scheduled Hours: M-F 8am-4pm, 40 hours/week

WSC provides this by offering quality, outcome-based services which meet evolving stakeholder's needs and bring together caring, engaged, and informed family members, friends, community partners, and employees to support these individuals.
WSC is actively seeking Community Support Worker (Direct Support Professionals) to help empower adults with intellectual disabilities to make more meaningful life choices by working directly with those individuals in our Medford Day Program.
This role is interesting because you will:
- Ensure community engagement
- Assist with ensuring a livable environment
- Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of each individual's goals
- Provide therapeutic support and assist in Behavior Support Plans, if appropriate
- Transport individuals
- Medication Administration
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal care, and nutritional needs
You are qualified if you have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive
- Ability to pass a driving and background check
- COVID-19 Vaccine Card
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to complete training both online and in-person
- Previous human services or long-term care experience is strongly preferred
- CNA/HHA experience preferred
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
