Sea-3, LLC operates a critical LPG marine terminal that serves as a key hub for energy distribution across the Northeast. We specialize in storing, handling, and transporting refrigerated liquefied petroleum gases via rail unloading and marine loading/unloading. Position Summary:

Sea-3 , LLC seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance at our refrigerated LPG marine and ambient rail terminal in Newington, NH. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance of terminal assets, including semi-cryogenic storage, rotating equipment, and pressure systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of all maintenance activities for mechanical, and instrumentation systems at the terminal.
  • Oversee and perform maintenance procedures and training to aid in the terminal operations qualifications.
  • Coordinate external contractors, ensuring all work is performed safely and effectively.
  • Maintain and improve the reliability of key assets such as compressors, pumps, cryogenic tanks, vaporization systems, and marine loading infrastructure.
  • Administer the terminal’s preventive and predictive maintenance program via a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, USCG, EPA, PHMSA, and applicable NFPA, ASME, and API codes.
  • Support risk assessments, root cause analyses, and reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.
  • Contribute technical input to capital improvement projects and lead maintenance-related commissioning activities.
  • Foster a strong safety culture, training, and enforcing safety protocols across all maintenance activities following Process Safety Management.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Proficiency with mechanical and rotating equipment, pressure systems, and cryogenic technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks including OSHA, USCG, EPA, API, ASME, and NFPA.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
  • Computer proficiency, including CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required or ability to obtain.

Education and work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred; equivalent technical degree or journeyman credentials with extensive experience considered.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience in marine terminals, petrochemical, LPG, LNG, or cryogenic storage environments.

Preferred Certification:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • API 510 / 570 / 653
  • OSHA 30-hour General Industry
  • NFPA 58 or LPG terminal-specific safety training

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone keypad.

· Must have the ability to lift, move and carry tool kits, hoses and other objects weighing up to 30 pounds

· Must be able to ascend and descend narrow stairs

· The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions in temperature extremes and inclement weather.

· Must be able to perform some work at heights and over or around water at marine facility locations

· May regularly be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials and working environment

· May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces

· The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

· As work volume fluctuates, must have ability to work weekends, holidays and shift work during a vessel receipt or as required.
