Pay rate range: $20-$21/hr
We are currently hiring a Material Handler I for our Boston Shipping Department. This role is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing materials, processing documentation, and supporting inventory control functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a physical, warehouse-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and check inbound material from vendors and internal sources
- Pull and pack finished goods for domestic and international shipments
- Process shipping documentation for various carriers and freight forwarders
- Assist with Cycle Count and Area Count inventory processes
- Label and store incoming material in coordination with Inventory Control
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Must be able to lift over 60 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4+ hours), bend frequently, and move heavy crates
- Must be able to operate pallet jacks and climb stairs regularly
