Job Description

Join a leading team that designs cutting-edge communication vehicles for the nation's telephone news, homeland security, and government sectors. We are seeking two skilled Electrical Technicians to expand our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair customer issues on specialized communication vehicles for the TV News Industry, Law Enforcement, and Government Agencies.
  • Repair electrical and electronic equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and vehicle structural issues.
  • Perform vehicle upgrades, including undercarriage wiring, mast removal, and rebuilding.
  • Repair alternators and MEPS systems.
  • Build custom roof decks and regulate satellite technology on vehicles.
  • Install, program, and test equipment on ENG, SNG, and production vehicles.

Essential Skills

  • Experience troubleshooting and correcting electrical, electro-mechanical, and calibration problems.
  • Strong mechanical experience; an automotive mechanic would fit well in this role.
  • Proficiency in wiring harnesses, wiring schematics, audiovisual setups, radio repair, crimping, and conduit bending.
  • Must have your own tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Journeyman electrician or Apprentice electrician certifications are a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean, climate-controlled environment with a team of 35-40 employees at our Auburn location. Ideal candidates include electro-mechanical technicians, automotive mechanics, or individuals experienced in car radio installations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
