Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An Intensive Special Education Teacher position is available to support a small caseload of students with severe disabilities in a substantially separate classroom setting. This opportunity is ideal for educators with a strong background in severe disabilities and individualized instruction who are committed to making a meaningful impact on students with complex medical and physical needs.

Job Type: Contract (CSY)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highly individualized instruction tailored to IEP goals for 8 students with multiple disabilities
- Support students with significant medical needs, including physical impairments, seizure disorders, visual impairments, and intellectual disabilities
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and ensure compliance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and medical staff to deliver comprehensive support and interventions
- Maintain effective communication with families and educational team members to promote student success
Qualifications and Experience:
- Massachusetts DESE Special Education license required
- Severe Disabilities (PreK8) endorsement preferred
- Experience working with students with high medical and physical support needs
- Strong skills in individualized instruction and behavior management
- Ability to collaborate professionally with multidisciplinary teams
