This role is designed for individuals dedicated to fostering the emotional and educational well-being of K-8th grade students through tailored assessment and intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in Psychology
- Current license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education
- Strong skills in emotional regulation and group therapy
- Ability to pass background check and drug test
Location: Waltham, MA
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Conduct 4-5 emotional regulation groups weekly, promoting students' social-emotional skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement strategies for student success
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and interventions
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
