Position Overview:

Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Westwood, MA to hire a part-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 20252026 school year. This onsite position involves providing in-person services, evaluations, and consultations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instructional services to students with visual impairments

• Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development

• Collaborate with school staff and families to support student needs

• Provide consultative services to general and special education teams

• Adapt educational materials and classroom tools for accessibility

Requirements:

• Valid Massachusetts TVI certification

• Experience working with K12 students

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a part-time schedule
