Seeking dedicated professionals for a summer contract position in a K-12 educational setting, located in Somerville, MA. This role focuses on providing exceptional support and instruction to students in an Integrated Pre-K classroom and an Autism classroom, serving a diverse group of learners during the summer months.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with Pre-K students, particularly in integrated or specialized settings
- Strong munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Experience supporting students with autism is a plus
Location:Somerville, MA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instruction and support to students in the Integrated Pre-K and Autism classrooms
- Collaborate with paraeducators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students
- Monitor student progress and maintain records as required
